HEALTH CARE

It is the responsibility of the state government to provide perfect health care to everyone residing in the state. Dharma Nethram should work in this direction. There shall be no deviation from this principle. We are in politics to bring reforms in every sector.

Indians are slowly losing faith in doctors because of the benefits slipping into their pockets from the pharmaceutical industry. People are aware of the unethical practices in the medical system. Government should be more concerned about the immunity system of its people than the annual turnover of pharmaceutical industry.

Cost free education in medicine: The number of doctors available in the country should be twenty percent more than the number required to serve the people. Students who had enrolled in medical courses should be treated as government employees for twelve consecutive years. How could we expect dedicated service from doctors who had paid donation to study medicine? It should be made mandatory for the doctors to serve in India for ten consecutive years after their graduation.

The state government should undertake the whole sale distribution of all the medicines required. A medical journal published by the government should be sent to all the registered medical practitioners in the state. All the facts about the medicines along with the opinion of experts should be printed in the journal.

Three tier health care policy should be implemented. 1.Primary 2.Surgical 3.Advanced

1.People need a well educated and qualified doctor near their homes for treatment of general problems like fever, cough, cold, snakebite, wounds, skin rash, headache, body pains, vomiting, loose motions, constipation, blood pressure, diabetes etc.. Registered medical practitioners with a three year degree in health science followed by a two year apprenticeship can handle this primary level job. State government should construct a two -story building in every village to accommodate primary hospital in the ground floor and residence for two doctors in the first floor.

2. MBBS degree holders can handle the secondary level. Surgical care hospitals should function in mandal quarters.

3. MS, MD and other post graduates could be assigned to deal with advanced healthcare. Advanced healthcare hospitals should be in towns only.

No politicians should every be permitted to go abroad to undergo surgery or for any kind of treatment. Government officials who get treatment abroad should be removed from the service. Likewise ministers should resign if they want to go abroad for treatment. Health of our citizens is the wealth of our nation. Let us preserve it.
